Artist’s statement
Days are slow and sultry in the late summer heat. There are evening swims and dawn walks and tea in the deepest shade of the garden. But, as if in a dream, I’m surrounded by exotic Hibiscus, the first Dahlias, the scent of lavender and heat-loving flowers.
This floral art was created with real flowers and fruit from my August garden in the Algarve.
