Ranunculus Garden
Limited Edition
£290.00 – £480.00
EDITION OF 5
Inspired by 17th century Dutch masters and their still lifes, this statement piece shows the curated beauty of an Algarve garden. Instead of setting up a floral display in my studio I created this still life by photographing it directly in a flower bed in my garden. Little vases filled with cut flowers from my garden were placed in a flower bed with Snapdragons and Ranunculus. The green foliage on a cloudy day as the perfect darker background outlining the bright colours of the flowers. I then included the natural world with butterflies, bees, insects and even a snail thriving among the flowers.
