I watched the rooster and hen walking along together in the stables this week, making quite a din with their clucking, and then noticed the lamb eavesdropping on them. Suddenly I wondered too what were the rooster and hen talking about?

It looks like they’re arguing about whether or not they should be taking in a stray lamb – he’s saying no and she’s all wistful and pleading ‘Oh Richard, pleeassssse, can’t we keep him?’
And he replies, ‘No. No, definitely not, you can’t trust anything that has curley feathers.’
Lol – wonder if the hen is called Mary…
