Recently our little valley has been like a sanctuary filled with deer and pheasants. At night we hear stags roaring and during the day the call of pheasants. And sometimes they graze next to each other.

You sound like you live in a similar country residence because we’ve been watching the deer and pheasants this week too. I adore all the wildlife… it’s all so special. A great shot because I’ve got a few myself but they’re not near or clear enough.

They look very at home together. Our ducks follow our deer around, but that is just to beat them to eating their breakfast while the deer hang back being shy!
