We made a detour to the pond at Wakehurst Place in Sussex this week to see if there were any young ones newly on the loose. And, yes, there we found Mother Goose and her goslings. Theo was rather pleased that he also found one of her feathers. Of course he had to bring it home and put it on display in his room. As you do. Sorry Mother Goose.

Great photo Kriss… I’m happy to see that Theo and Luce are maintaining a safe distance!
Wow, up so close, and the mother goose wasn’t fussed about her goslings being so close to people.
Great pic
Love how you have capture this moment. Fantastic photo x
Love how Mom Goose looks so proud of her offsprings! Lovely capture and a so worth it detour. #mysundayphoto
Aww! That is so sweet! Such a lovely photo x
Loving capture.
This is a completely amazing photo, the perspective is wild, the colours and focus unusual and equally impressive that the mama didn’t attack you!
Great photo, I love the layout of this.
Thank you for linking up
What a fantastic photo. My three year old got attacked by one the other day so we are now a little dubious to get so close!! X
Yikes – there wasn’t one hiss from this lot the other day.
Love the perspective Kriss, it looks like a painting too.
such a lovely photo
Thank you 🙂
Love the perspective in this photo – Mother Goose looks about 10 feet tall!
Hehe – me lying on the grass 🙂
Wow I love this picture, fab! x
great shot. i am surprised the mother goose isnt hissing. i thought they were angry mamas.:)
She was actually a very laid back mama!
I’m always slightly terrified that a flock of geese will chase me to peck at me if I’m near them. These look quite friendly!
This family was very friendly – even though Theo found one of their feathers!
