Last summer my daughter had her first riding lesson. She was excited but nervous around horses. Now I watch her calmly and confidently lead the horse out of the ring after her lesson.

How quickly we go from panicking about something our children do to accepting it as normal. They grow up so fast!

My daughter would be very jealous of this photo; she started riding a few months ago and is no pony mad! It’s an expensive hobby isn’t it?!

Ah so lovely my youngest loves riding too, he has been riding for 2 years now its amazing watching them grow in confidence isn’t it ?
It really is lovely – she went from being so skittish and now calm.
