Last summer my daughter had her first riding lesson. She was excited but nervous around horses. Now I watch her calmly and confidently lead the horse out of the ring after her lesson.

How quickly we go from panicking about something our children do to accepting it as normal. They grow up so fast!

Ah so lovely my youngest loves riding too, he has been riding for 2 years now its amazing watching them grow in confidence isn’t it ?
It really is lovely – she went from being so skittish and now calm.

THey are such gentle creatures, I love watching nervous children slowly loose their anxieties about there size and strength. Horses have a willingness and kindness that is incomprehensible until you have felt it! #mysundayphoto
