My Sunday photo shows the sudden departure of a Robin, Great tit and a Nuthatch from our bird feeder. Just before this the Nuthatch had been watching from the tree trunk the Robin and Great Tit snacking on the platform before joining in. The Nuthatch is actually able to climb down a tree headfirst.
Sorry but the scene made me think, “I’d love to stay and chat, but I’m flying,” so I decided to make the collage below.

Wonderful captures. How long do you need to sit there poised to get those? They never come when I am ready and waiting!

I sit at a table nearby having my morning tea with my camera ready! I think they’re all getting rather used to me.

You certainly need patience to capture the little twitterers. I’ve never heard of a nuthach before.

Amazing action shots. Love them! I tried to capture a bird earlier this week, but he was too quick for me…

Incredible photo! Love that you’ve captured them all in flight at once. The movement in their wings is amazing.
Two great shots and I love the caption that goes with them too 🙂
Great capture and what a wonderful way to spend a few moments in the morning!

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a nuthatch before. Nice that they all come and visit together.
Great captures, we haven’t seen any robins in our garden this year
Thank you for linking up
Oh wow, these are great. Stupid fat cat from next door keeps scaring away the little birds, so frustrating
