My Sunday photo shows the sudden departure of a Robin, Great tit and a Nuthatch from our bird feeder. Just before this the Nuthatch had been watching from the tree trunk the Robin and Great Tit snacking on the platform before joining in. The Nuthatch is actually able to climb down a tree headfirst.
Sorry but the scene made me think, “I’d love to stay and chat, but I’m flying,” so I decided to make the collage below.
