When I woke up at sunrise earlier this week, I discovered I wasn’t the only one awake in our West Sussex valley. Recently I’ve seen a fox lurking about in the field behind us quite frequently. There are also lots and lots of pheasants around. But what surprised me about this fox and pheasant scene is what happened next!

Such a stunning photo, and I just checked out what happened next… Brilliant 🙂
He is not hungry haha! Such a lovely view to wake up to! #mysundayphoto
Oh my, your photos are always beautiful. I didn’t expect the outcome hehe.
Great capture to get both of them in shot at once. I’m never quick enough.
Fantastic capture Kriss, it’s almost like an illustration in a children’s book! 😀
Being ever so nosey I just had to click and see! I wasn’t expecting that #MySundayPhoto
What a great capture – and, of course, I had to see what happened next! Phew!! #MySundayPhoto
Wow, well done for capturing that, catching animals unawares is definitely a tricky thing!
What a great capture Kriss, I just had to take a peek at your other post to check the pheasant survived 🙂
Thank you Cathy 🙂
I see foxes around where I live but they’re always quick to scuttle off and I’ve never managed to photograph one. You’re very clever with your journalistic…”what happened next….” who can resist that? Of course I clicked through and took a look!
I was lucky as I actually woke up at sunrise and went out onto our back deck!
Great photo, I wasn’t expecting that outcome. Beautiful scenes.
Thank you for linking up
Neither was I! Perhaps because there’s so many pheasants around here.
do tell, what did happen next? they walked right past each other?
i really love this photo. we do have foxes in Australia but not pheasants. and sadly the only ones you see are dead ones:(
Thank you Sherry 🙂
